LUMATECH ILLUMINA S35 SIX LENS SET

This set includes 18mm / 25mm / 35mm / 50mm / 85mm / 135mm all with a fast T1.3 aperture (135m is T1.8). Similar to their ancestor Lomo & Zeiss Superspeed lenses, wide open they have slightly lower-contrast, are flattering, highlights bloom slightly, and bokeh is stunning. Stopped down to T2, contrast and sharpness increases to peak performance. They have an incredible analogue character, with beautiful and unique flares. Despite that, they also can handle strong backlight with ease. A collaboration between LOMO optical design (Russia) and LumaTech (USA) with optics from Schott (Germany). All of the great look of vintage Lomo superspeeds, but in a modern housing that is easier to work with.

These lenses have a double-helicoid thread focus design, which means that the focus gear will stay in place while the front of the lens will track in/out up to 5mm. Due to this we recommend a swing away mattebox (which we can also provide). A clamp on mattebox may damage the helicoids, and make the focus stiff and heavy.
